Day 1: Nairobi

Day 2: Lake Nakuru

Days 3 & 4: Eldoret / Kampala
Help out at a rural community project, then cross the border into Uganda to camp near Kampala.
Days 5 & 6: Kibale Forest National Park
Spot chimps playing in the rainforest on a walking safari.
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Try to spot elephants, lions and leopards on a game drive. Be amazed by the wealth of birdlife on a cruise down the Kazinga Channel.
Day 8: Lake Bunyonyi
Take in picturesque scenery while camping near Lake Bunyonyi.
Days 9 to 11: Gorilla Trek
Hike through steamy jungle terrain in Rwanda to encounter rare mountain gorillas.
Day 12: Lake Mburo
Camp on the peaceful shores of the lake.
Days 13 & 14: Jinja
Take a guided walk through the Lake Mburo National Park then travel to Jinja and perhaps try white-water rafting.
Days 15 & 16: Eldoret / Nairobi
Pass through Eldoret once more on the way back to the capital.
