Brief Itinerary


Day 1: Victoria Falls

Those who arrive early can use free time to try the adventure activities on offer in the area such as abseiling or canoeing. In the afternoon, visit Victoria Falls to witness the incredible power of nature.

Day 2: Bulawayo

Mingle with locals in markets while in Bulawayo.

Day 3: Masvingo

The oldest colonial settlement in Zimbabwe is also home to an important archaeological site. Explore these ancient ruins, thought to have once been a royal palace.

Day 4: Lake Chicamba

Zebra and eland are often seen meandering by this shimmering lake. Fishing is popular here - but be sure to hire a boat as crocodiles lurk beneath the surface!

Days 5 to 7: Vilankulo

Mozambique's pleasure playground offers gorgeous coral reefs, sandy beaches and lush islands. Spend a day sailing the archipelago in a dhow, a traditional Arab sailboat. Back in town, browse the local markets and be immersed in the culture of Mozambique.

Days 8 & 9: Morrungulo

Camp among coconut groves on a beautiful beach. Spend time snorkelling, diving or lazing on the warm sand.

Day 10: Praia de Tofo

Discover a colonial port town once popular with Portuguese and Arab traders, then camp on a pristine beach with friendly locals and fresh seafood at hand.

Day 11: Maputo

This glamorous city has a distinctly European feel. Visit its excellent restaurants, then hit the music clubs to listen to an infusion of jazz, house or reggae.

Days 12 & 13: Kruger National Park

Embark on afternoon game drives to spot the Big Five.

Day 14: Johannesburg

Take in awesome views of the Blyde River Canyon on the journey back to the busy streets of Johannesburg.
